Abstract

The analysis of Puertomingalvo in the XVth century allows to influence the development of a phase in low-medieval crisis in the mountains of Teruel and its definite progress. A functional approach to "comunes" is made possible, also the organization of cultivation, the evolution of land's distribution, the roll of livestock in labor and its reproduction patterns, the relationship between static and itinerant cabins, the articulation between cattle and sheep, the supervision of these two, fundamental agrarian production and the administration of capital. In all these matters the council direction and the rural way of management and productivity levels derived of them are revealed to be decisive, and the answers to capitalization and productive investment of wealth in contrasting conditions for crisis and growth.
